This page is going to be catalog of my favorite music, websites, youtube channels, and whatever else. I want to have a way to keep track of these things, and come back to them without the use of corporate algorithms. I find that when I rely on these algorithms, it is too easy to forget about things that aren't suggested to me. As I'm sure you have experienced, I get the same things suggested to me over and over, and for whatever reason some things become buried and I potentially forget about them forever. Lame.

When I went to actually start compiling all of this info, right away I realized it was a huge untertaking to actually just list out all of the music and media I have enjoyed over the course of my entire life. So I have requested JSON data from Spotify, Youtube, and Google Chrome to hopefully make the job a little easier. I plan to narrow that data down to the stuff I want to include in this catalog. I just have to wait a little while to recieve that data. I'm sure that narrowing will a bit of an undertaking as well, but hopefully it will be a fun excercise! In the end, I hope to have a decent catalog of things to come back to and explore, and if anyone out there wants to poke through it and discover something new, they can! Sort of like looking through your friends' spotify playlists or liked pages on social media, without all the enshittification.

Also if anyone would be interested in seeing the process of how I do this, let me know. I'm not completely sure what it will look like myself so you would be along for the ride. Maybe I could make a little tutorial or something so others can do the same thing!
