Hello and welcome to my website! A little about me - she/her, elder millenial, leftist, artist, permaculturist, heavy introvert, nature lover and nerd of many things. I first started learning HTML making websites in the early days of the internet when I was around 12 or so, and was hooked on it at the time. I loved creating a little world for myself that someone else living in a far away place could take a peak at if they wished. Eventually as a young adult I ended up making websites professionally for a while, but the magic was gone. Doing it for a living meant it had to be done in the name of selling a product or presenting a corporation in a certain way, and as you can imagine all the fun was sucked out of it. Not to mention, design work is often undervalued. Fun or inspiring projects usually paid very little, or nothing. So, my career turned a different way (I now work in data analytics in the cannabis industry).

It has been great to come back to web design in the spirit of what made me first fall in love with it. This site is still very much a work in progress, but I intend for it to be a hub for my creations - art, music, writing, and a way to catalog other interests I have. I would really like to distance myself from mainstream social media as well as corporate algorithms as much as possible, so that is what I am doing here. Hopefully you find something useful/interesting here for yourself!
